About The House

Located in the quiet lakeside community of Cressy, about 25 minutes from Picton, Prinyers Lake House comfortably accommodates up to 6 adults, plus children. The house is available for stays throughout the year.

The house features three bedrooms (one primary bedroom with a king bed and two guest bedrooms with two queen beds each) and two bathrooms, including a private ensuite with a soaker tub. A fully equipped kitchen, dining room, living room with a wood-burning fireplace, and screened-in sunroom provide plenty of space to cook, gather and settle in. An EV charger is available for guests, and linens, towels and other everyday essentials are provided for your stay.

Outside, enjoy the hot tub year-round, relax on the large deck, or head down to the lake and private dock during the warmer months. The rebuilt shoreline provides safe, easy access to the water and more space to enjoy the waterfront. Each season brings something different: summer days on the water, colourful fall weekends, cozy winter stays by the fire, and spring escapes when nature is blooming.

Part of what we love about Prince Edward County is that no two days here have to look the same. Stay at the house and settle into a slower pace by the lake, or head out and explore, revisiting old favourites and inevitably discovering somewhere new along the way.

From Cressy and Waupoos to Picton, Wellington and beyond, the County is made for wandering: wineries and farm stands, great food and cocktails, beaches and trails, local shops, art studios and plenty of beautiful scenery in between. Explore PEC for even more of what the County has to offer, or reach out to us anytime for our recommendations and local tips.

Why We Love the County

Wine, cider & everything local

From experimental wines and craft beer to local cider, maple syrup and mustard, there’s always somewhere worth stopping, with some of our favourites right here in Cressy and Waupoos.

Some of our favourites: Cape Vineyards · Waupoos Estates · County Cider · Huff Estates · The Grange · Trail Estate

Get outside

Hike the dunes or spend the day at the beach at Sandbanks, explore the County’s trails, or stay closer to home for a swim, paddle or afternoon on the lake.

Come hungry

Mexican in Wellington, tapas and cocktails in Picton, pizza at a winery or a hearty harbourfront breakfast, exploring the County usually includes something good to eat along the way.

Some of our favourites: La Condesa · Bocado · The Royal · Lighthouse Restaurant · Old Salt Cocktails

Take the long way

PEC is spread out, and that's part of the fun. Pick an area, take your time, and stop at shops, studios, farm stands and whatever else catches your eye along the way.

Some of our favourites: The Local Store · Bonkers · County Rust · Cressy Mustard

The County, Year-Round

Summer may be the County's best-known season, but it's far from the only time we love being here. Spring and fall bring quieter roads, changing landscapes and Countylicious, while more restaurants, wineries, bars and shops are staying open throughout the winter. Each season offers a different way to experience PEC, and often a little more room to explore it.
